I was late, hungry and stressed. I had to sacrifice any pride towards not going to McDonald’s… ever. I did my well deserved 2 years on the kitchen floor back home in Sweden and promised myself never to eat or even visit the place again… I failed.

Anyway, I guess the Spinola branch has to be considered one of the better McDonald’s restaurants. Would like to try the café someday… I just have so much against McDonald’s. 

Guess what, I asked for “take out” as mentioned on the receipt. Of course I didn’t get it that way… 2 options… 50% risk to fail, tough life

As the past days has been freezing cold we’re at least happy to see the sun again. A perfect day for a lunch at Rafael restaurant in St. Julian’s Spinola bay. “This is pure quality of life” I was saying silently saying to myself. I don’t mind that it will probably take me half an hour to get my food ordered, I will happily sit here and just enjoy the sun!

Last time we went to Oliver’s they informed about the set menu for the upcoming Valentine’s day. So pleased about our previous visit we decided to spend the Valentine’s dinner at Olivers restaurant in St. Julian’s. 

Unfortunately the battery of the camera lasted only for the starter But rests assure that the veal for main course was cooked to perfection!

We love Snoopy’s because of its friendly atmosphere and its great meat. Yesterday we tried the Argentinean rib-eye which comes with a pepper crust top and seasoned vegetables. Just great!

I’ve been passing by Oliver’s (Old Zeri’s) a few times and always admired how nice it looks. Dark wood, red walls and just such quality look and feel.
