After having written this blog post (with some great help by friends of ours) we’re changing the concept of maltalunch.com into a community site were you and everyone else will post your own real reviews, photos, comments and ratings.
The idea is taken from success stories as the US based yelp.com, qype.co.uk and the Swedish reco.se.
We want to bring this concept of a user generated content website to Malta, and what better way to do it than with restaurants?

Here’s an idea/thought/question: Will you also
allow the food establishments to post? Will they be allowed to do rebuttals? Make announcements?
Will you enable polls? If I were a ‘lunch place’ maybe I would run a poll to see what people wanted for menu changes, or adding Guinness, or ummm… something.

Well, anybody can put up a review in theory even the restaurant it self.
Polls are great, will definitely look into how to use these best.
Also delivery service would be something to look into!

My personal favourite is Snoopy’s in Sliema next to the EC hotel in front of the traffic lights. Ask for it, everyone know where it is.
