There’s sushi and then there’s just raw fish

We had a real sushi weekend trying both lovely salmon sashimi, white fish nigris and something very smelly. Sushi seems to be all the talk these days, there are soon more sushi take away places than Turkish kebab’s.

Good Sushi places have one thing in common, the chefs are Asian. In other words, understand your limits and do the food your best at. Why am I talking about this? Because I had a terrible Sushi experience Saturday, being served something that looked and smelled nothing like sushi.

Therefore we’ve made Maltalunch beginners 2-step good guide to sushi!

1) Good sushi, served at the TemptASIAN palace hotel in Sliema

2) Bad sushi, this sushi smells and is cut the wrong way (Not gonna tell you where…)
