It’s a nice Thursday evening and our destiny takes us to Peppino’s restaurant in Spinola Bay, St. Julians. Previous guests includes amongst other well known Hollywood stars; Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Madonna and Guy Richie.

We’re following the chef’s recommendation of a light tuna Carpaccio followed buy a tender fillet of beef.

As always the meet is cooked to it’s perfection. Peppino’s is one of our all-time favorites and we’ll be back soon!

Yesterday I took my girlfriend for a casual Sunday lunch at Piccolo Padre. We were given a warm welcome and a nice table even though all sea side tables were taken. Pity, but we have to come earlier next time.

We ordered a tender Rib-eye and an all-time favorite pizza accompanied with a bottle of light sparkling Mateus rosé – an easy going wine to Italian dishes.

I’ve been to Piccolo Padre many times before but I would rate this visit as all-time best as the meat was cooked to absolute perfection!
