Tuesday, May 20th, 2008Normally a menu having a too wide range of selections is a big “no no!”. However, The Avenue is an exception as this place is always packed 7 days a week, allowing them to always keep everything fresh.
Try the spare ribs, they are great – Don’t go for the beef, you’ll find better beef for just a few euros more elsewhere (Snoopy’s).
Paradise bay lido – best beach food in Malta. All for free if you wear a "Mankini".

Tired of toasted ham & cheese fitira, sweaty beef burger or something else from the classic beach menu? Besides being the best beach in Malta, Paradise also have the best beach food – by far.
Ok, you also pay for what you get. But having spent a few sunny hours nothing is too expensive for a perfectly grilled tender calamari with a chilled bottle of rosé. Priceless.
And if your biggest idol is Borat – then, there’s a free meal to whoever wears the world famous “Mankini”

Good food in Sicily?

After a not so pleasant journey with the Virtue ferries over to Pozzallo (the whole ship was a layer of puke) with continued up to Taormina, our end destination.
We tried a local Trattoria serving Salcicia served with oven roasted potatoes. For €22 it was nothing that blew my taste buds away. However the local beer from nearby Messina was really good.
Snoopy’s Malta just get better and better!

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008The best coffee you drink in Italy – no matter what time it is during the day, no matter what sort of coffee your order (Do however mind that the locals don’t drink cappuccino after 11am).
I went to Italy, not only to taste the coffee, but for some other joyful activities. If you have your way around Sicily – go for a walk to Castemola and enjoy!
