Do you love your job?

Tuesday, March 25th, 2008

The ever growing popularity of Greger’s own kitchen has taken the path of Pasta Salcicia. Fresh Maltese sausage, garlic, spring onions, chili, tomato sauce and a hint of persil in a fabulous blend.

By the way, stepped by the clock repair shop with my new watch that needed to be adjusted. Having a surfaced discussion I started to ask some questions about his watch. “Nah, it’s nothing special. I had an old strap, 30-years old now, that I put on a newer 10 EUR watch… you know, watches doesn’t interest me at all….”

One day later I still don’t know what to say.

However, what I do know is that Greger will travel south to the island of Sicily early tomorrow morning. Hopefully we’ll avoid all the crap places and go straight for the best Tratorias!

Do it with an espresso

Thursday, March 13th, 2008

Say hello to all the great Baristas out there! There are three great things in the world worth walking for: Women, Love and espresso.

Even though all three can be bought with money a real espresso preferable needs both women and love to be enjoyed.

Where do I drink my espresso? Café Catania in Sliema is a great weekday pit-stop bar to check-in after work. €1.20 and it’s yours – prepared to perfection by women and love.

Thank you Mr. Gonzi!

Monday, March 10th, 2008

We congratulate the Nationalist party and Mr. Gonzi to the victory of the 2008 Maltese election.

For today’s lunch we recommend a bag of twistiees, a few pastities and to those 10-20 pints of either local Cisk or foreign Heiniken if you feel to be a bit extra crazy.

Prize: €25 and you’ll have fun all night long.
